On November 30, 2016 the regular session of Skadovsk city council took place. Deputies considered the draft decision "About the termination through the elimination of the municipal institution "Centre for the provision of free primary legal aid in Skadovsk city council of Skadovsk district, Kherson region". The issue of termination of the municipal institution arose after the creation of Skadovsk Legal Aid Bureau office, which allegedly duplicates the Center. Deputies and officials were encouraged to its elimination by the financial issue – raising the minimum wage, initiated by the government.
On 20-21 October International conference "Strengthening legal capacity of communities" was held in Kharkiv. Participants considered the issues on the merits, approaches, ways and tools to strengthen the legal capacity of communities.
On August 8 in Kherson the newly appointed chiefs of the Bureau offices in the region gathered for the first time at the inception meeting. They came to meet with colleagues and leadership to see how best to organize the work of the Bureau, learn from the experience of local and regional centers of free secondary legal aid in Kherson region.
On 11 March the fourth seminar for ATO ex-combatants and their families was held in Beryslav , Kherson region. The program traditionally included psychological, legal, informational aid and moral support. The expert of the regional centre of social services for family, children and youth Alla Tverdokhlib helped the team of the Information Resource Center "Legal Space" organize training.
